You can wake up every morning with Kassata Edwards as she reports on the latest headlines in Western New York.

Kassata joined the YNN News team in March 2009 and is happy to be home in the Empire State.

She began her career in New York City as an intern, then desk assistant at NBC Nightly News, working alongside distinguished journalists Tom Brokaw and Brian Williams. It was during that time Kassata realized broadcast journalism was the field for her.

Jon Dougherty joined YNN Buffalo as a weekend anchor and videojournalist in June of 2009. Jon anchors mornings on YNN Buffalo.

Jon worked as a reporter and videojournalist at WTVH in Syracuse. Jon covered the murder trial of "The Black Widow," Stacy Castor, the fall of New York Governor Eliot Spitzer and the crash of Flight 3407.

Jon is a Western Massachusetts native and graduate of Le Moyne College in Syracuse. He's enjoys walks along Niagara Falls with his fiancée Lauren. Jon is also an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Ben Arnet joined YNN Buffalo as a sports reporter and anchor when the channel launched in March 2009.

Ben got his start in the sports TV business while still in high school. He worked as a sports photographer and editor at KMIZ-TV in Columbia, MO.

Ben is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism. He worked as a feature reporter, photographer and anchor at KOMU-TV in Columbia. Ben reported on the University of Missouri for the statewide "Mizzou Sports Network." He covered the Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Rams. Ben reported on the Rams during their run to the Super Bowl in 1999.
