Popular legal analyst and former CNN presenter, who currently hosts On The Record on the Fox News Channel, has signed a new contract keeping her in the popular 10pm ET slot through to the next election.
The New York Times' Brian Stelter writes;
The contract for Ms. Van Susteren, an interviewer and legal commentator and host of the program ''On the Record,'' was set to expire at the end of the year. A Fox representative confirmed Tuesday evening that a new contract had been agreed upon.
Ms. Van Susteren's prime-time colleagues, Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, are already committed to Fox News through the next election cycle, an important advantage in helping the channel remain a profit engine for its parent company, News Corporation.
The new contract will keep Ms. Van Susteren at Fox for several more years, said a person close to the situation who was not authorized to discuss the negotiations. There had been talk that Fox could move the commentator Glenn Beck or the news anchor Megyn Kelly to the 10 p.m. time slot sometime in the future.
A bunch (several thousand) of check valves (solid steel spheres 2-3 inches in diameter) dropped into the open pipe would probably clog the pipe and block the oil. flow. The weight and shape of each individual sphere would make them being expelled by the force of the spewing oil highly unlikely.
Dear Greta--Really like to watch you on fox you are a down to earth person, but would like to hear more about that Drew Peterson, it seems everything has been quiet on him, I feel that he knows a lot more then he is telling, for some reason the look on his face seems to say no one is going to prove anything, I feel he had a lot to do with her disappearance. Thank you Doris
